Like many of you I have found it so hard over the years to find someone to cut my hair that I feel truly appreciates & loves curls & that doesn’t look like they want to run for the hills when I sit in their chair…
In my experience there is not much worse in visiting a salon than feeling unwelcome because of your natural hair type - which is why I promise to never make you feel that way!

While working in the hair industry over the last 10 years I have developed my own range of curly cutting, styling & colouring techniques that enable me to carve you a shape, that not only flatters & flows but also volumnises & defines your locks, leaving you with beautiful supple curls in a style perfect for you.
Having children , three of which have varying levels of curl all different to my own have kept me on my toes too - although you best believe we always look a little wild
For those who do not wear their hair in their natural wave/curl all of the time & for other hair types, I offer a full range of Non Curly Services, if you are unsure what service would be best for your hair type please book in for a consultation where we can talk through your hair goals.

I moved to the island 3 years ago from Luton with my wife and 3 sons. We absolutely fell in love with the west wight! I started barbering when I was 14yrs old cutting friends hair but never took it seriously as I thought I'd be a footballer and worked loads of other jobs but got back into it working in Ryde and then going into a shop in Yarmouth where we won awards.
My passion is skinfades and like a beard trim but I'll put my hands to anything!

Hey I’m Megan, I have been hairdressing for 15 years, with 8 of those years being here on the Isle of Wight ☀️.
I am very excited to be Joining the team at One Love.
Since starting my hairdressing career I have been fortunate enough to attend many training courses and learn new skills.
My favourite part of hairdressing is cutting. I love a graduated bob and a restyle, and will put my hands to almost any style.
